Getting Started
- What is Cash Game Host?
- A free app built for home poker cash game hosts. It tracks buy-ins, cash-outs, shared expenses, and computes settlement — so you don't have to do the math.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. No premium plan, no trial period, no ads, no hidden costs. Free forever.
- Do my players need accounts?
- No. You manage everything as the host. Players are just names in your roster — they never need to download anything or sign up.
- What devices does it work on?
- Any device with a web browser. Cash Game Host is mobile-first and works on iPhone, Android, tablets, and desktops.
Running a Game
- How do I create a game?
- Sign in, tap Start Game, and you're live. The app auto-generates a name, adds you as the host, and lets you set stakes and add players.
- How do buy-ins and cash-outs work?
- Record them as they happen — individually or in bulk. Re-buys add to a player's total buy-in. At the end of the night, record each player's cash-out (their final chip count in dollars).
- How do shared expenses work?
- Add an expense (pizza, drinks, supplies), choose who paid, and pick a split mode. The app has 4 split modes: settle-time all, snapshot at expense, all except payer, and custom. Expenses are factored into settlement automatically.
- What if the bank doesn't balance?
- Before closing a game, the app runs a bank balance check — verifying that total buy-ins equal total cash-outs. If something is off, it flags the discrepancy so you can fix it before settling.
- Can I reopen a closed game?
- Yes. If you closed by mistake or need to correct something, use Reopen Game. Make your changes, then close again.
Settlement & Payments
- How does settlement work?
- When you close a game, the app computes each player's net (cash-out minus buy-in) and calculates the fewest transfers needed to settle all debts. You can copy the settlement text and share it with your group.
- What is clearinghouse mode?
- The host acts as the intermediary. All losers pay the host, and the host pays all winners. Cash Game Host tracks which collections and payouts are complete so nothing slips through the cracks.
- What payment methods are supported?
- You can store Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, and Zelle handles for each player. The app can scan QR codes from Venmo and Cash App profiles and generate payment links.
- Can I mix cash and digital payments?
- Yes. Record all buy-ins the same way regardless of how the player pays. Settlement tells you the net amounts — players can settle using whatever method they prefer.

Stats & History
- What stats are tracked?
- Every player has lifetime stats: net profit, ROI, games played, biggest win, biggest loss, time played, and average net per game — across all your games.
- Can I see stats across all games?
- Yes. The Stats page shows lifetime results for every player you've ever hosted. Tap a player to see their full history.
Product Scope
- Does it handle RSVPs or scheduling?
- No. Cash Game Host focuses entirely on the money side — buy-ins, cash-outs, expenses, and settlement. For RSVPs, a group chat or dedicated event tool works best.

- How do I contact support?
- Sign in and use Help & Feedback (in the footer or settings). You can send us a message directly — we read every one and respond personally.
- Can I delete my account?
- Yes. Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data.
